The annual Massachusetts Kayak Bassin’ championship is an invitational event. Anglers can qualify two different ways:

• Finish in the Top 3 at any Eastern, Western, Central, or Northern Division live series event
• Finish in the Top 10 in Angler of the Year points in your respective division at the end of the regular season

The overall Angler of the Year is determined by an angler’s best seven events in any division plus the championship. Each regular-season event awards a maximum of 400 Angler of the Year points, while the championship awards a maximum of 600.

To win the overall Massachusetts Kayak Bassin’ Angler of the Year title, you must qualify for and fish the championship.
